Sponsorship Opportunities
Village of hope currently has the following different opportunities for
individuals to become sponsors:
High Risk Children
These children are the the most vulnerable within the village, most with no one to care for them. Sponsored children receive food, clothing, shelter, education, medical care and nurturing. Children in the High Risk Children's Center (HRCC) are all under 18 years of age and as young as newborns. It is not uncommon for us to care for underage girls with their small children. Annual sponsorship of a child in the HRCC program is only $900.00.

Educate
a Child/ Support a Family
With a matching donation of our corporate sponsor; Foresight Management Services, the Dagoo Harawaa program educates a child at a local private school while employing the father doing community service projects each week. In addition to wages, families earn goats and other items designed to help foster family independence. Both parents attend educational classes on health, sanitation, improved farming and other topics designed to help improve each family's health and welfare. Annual sponsorship of a family is only $150.00.

EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE
Many families are unable to participate in the Dagoo Harawaa program for a variety of reasons (distance from Kersa, no father/elder brother, outside work will not allow). The youth in these families have the opportunity to apply for sponsorship through our Educational Assistance program. This program covers the cost of school enrollment at the private school, books and uniform.
