Current Projects and Future Plans
All of the programs within the Village of Hope help create an environment and opportunity to bring a strong sense of spirit and pride to the village. Some of those not listed elsewhere on our web site include;
1.
Clothing for Youth. Clothing is accepted and shipped to Ethiopia. Clothing is provided to those who are most needy after beingtreated by the physician.
2. Eye Glasses. Old eye glasses are brought to the village and matched to those who have similar needs.
3. Shoes. Are provided to those who are willing to provide work and service to receive them.
4. Blankets. Are given to mothers with toddlers.
5. Wheelchairs. Village members in need can apply to receive a wheelchair. Chairs are distributed on a “most needed” basis.
6. School Kits. Are assembled in the U.S., brought to Ethiopia and given to the public school in the village.
7. Scabies Kits. These are used to teach proper bathing and given to mothers with small children in need.
