Widows in village receive the gift of goats becasue of the generosity of a group of donors

One person can make a tremendous difference and everyone has something to contribute. All you need is a desire to make a difference and a willing heart. The Village of Hope relies on volunteers to help locally to meet the needs and enrich the lives of needy children and families. Please consider finding something that lies in your comfort zone and get involved by making a donation today!

Individual Family Support

Below is a listing of items that most families in the village are in need of. Village of Hope locates a needy family and provides the items specified when the donation is made.

• Seeds for Family Garden	$25
• 10 Small fruit Trees	$25
• Family Latrine. Helps reduce water pollution and dysentery.	$30
• Smokeless Stove. Helps reduce respiratory infections and death in babies and small children.	$40
• Pregnant Goat for a Widowed Mother & Children . The baby goat will be passed on to another needy family if female or eaten if male.	$50
• Donkey. Used by family to bring in harvest and crops to the market to sell.	$85
• Treadle Sewing Machine. Can be used by men and women to earn money as they make new or repair old clothing.	$125
• Ox for Farm Work	$200
• Family Horse	$175

Small Group Service Projects
