Changing Ethiopia...
Most non-profit/NGOs (Non-Government Organizations) providing humanitarian
services in Ethiopia take a similar approach.
Many schedule large trips, providing humanitarian services to hundreds or even thousands.
Some provide opportunities
for children to receive a better education. Often when the group leaves the area or the child completes
his/her education, the same living conditions of hopelessness and
despair exist.
One Village at a time...
The Village of Hope uses a different approach. It is our goal to take one
village at a time and
help
develop all of the areas necessary for the entire village to
improve their health and
standard of living, and create a sense of teamwork, cooperation and
independence.
